Youju Recreational Farm is situated on the shores of Yongheshan Reservoir in Sanwan Township, Miaoli County. Within its premises lies the Yongheshan Reservoir's water intake diversion channel, offering panoramic views of the reservoir. Surrounded by mountains, the landscape features stunning reflections of mountains and water, creating an extraordinary spectacle. As its name 'Youju' suggests, the farm is primarily known for cultivating citrus fruits, with pick-your-own fruit tours being its main attraction. Using organic farming methods, they grow dozens of fruits and vegetables, including grapefruit, wendan pomelo, and Murcott tangerines. The 'Murcott tangerines' and 'wendan pomelo' are particularly renowned for their superior quality, delicious juiciness, and sweet flavor, having won countless awards and received GAP (Good Agricultural Practices) certification for fresh produce. The farm also cultivates several types of healthy mountain vegetables, such as Chinese toon, available fresh year-round. It further provides facilities including a legal B&B, an outdoor cafe, a restaurant, mountain trails, camping and BBQ areas, and a fishing pond, making it a vacation and leisure destination suitable for all ages. Here, guests can enjoy vast lawns, expansive views, and natural, organic farm produce.
