Zhunan Longfeng Fishing Port

Longfeng Fishing Port, located in Longfeng Village, Zhunan Township, is a natural fishing port on the south bank at the confluence of the Lengshui Stream estuary and the Longfeng Canal. Due to the predominantly rocky seabed in the nearby waters, benthic fish species are countless, and fishery resources are extremely abundant, including mullet, cuttlefish, pomfret, and more, which can be caught year-round. It is classified as a Class III fishing port. Longfeng Fishing Port is situated right next to the Western Coastal Highway and is the only fishing port in Taiwan located along the coastal main line, making transportation extremely convenient. With the county government's strong promotion of policies to beautify fishing villages and harbors, it has been developed into a unique tourist fishing port, moving towards diversified business models. With Longfeng Fishing Port at its core, it connects to Qiding Coastal Recreation Area to the north and the Wetland Tourist and Leisure Area to the south, forming a rich and complete tourist route. It is very suitable for various recreational activities with a strong maritime theme, always attracting a continuous stream of tourists on holidays. Longfeng Fishing Port boasts beautiful scenery and a clean environment. The surrounding recreational facilities are well-planned, with a viewing platform established within the port area. At night, beautiful lighting enhances the atmosphere and makes the seaside night view even more stunning. Next to the fishing port is a forest of Casuarina trees, an ideal place for shade and relaxation on sunny summer days. Jogging, walking, or even cycling here can help relax the mind and body while providing exercise. To enhance the tourism resources of coastal fishing ports, boost the atmosphere of coastal leisure travel, and increase fishermen's income, the county government invested heavily in the construction of the 'Longfeng Fishing Port Cross-Sea Scenic Bridge,' which officially opened in 2008. With its white sailboat design and beautiful, sturdy steel structure, it allows visitors to enjoy sea views and cycle, becoming a popular attraction beloved by tourists.
