Continuing the achievements of the Coastal Bikeway Project, this route starts from the Shuiyue Imagery Scenic Bridge over the Fengshan River in the west, extends eastward along the right bank of the Touqian River, and connects to the Baoshi Police Station in Xipu Township. This initiative has not only opened up the section of the Touqian River's right bank high-tide land leading to the slow-pitch softball field but has also demonstrated the promotion of carbon reduction, green transportation, and enhanced waterside tourism benefits within the county. This Touqian River Right Bank Bikeway Extension and Connection Project, building upon the achievements of the Coastal Bikeway Project, starts from the Shuiyue Imagery Scenic Bridge in Zhubei, Fengshan River in the west, passes along the Douzipu Stream, uses the right bank of the Touqian River as its main route, and extends eastward to the Baoshi Police Station in Xipu Township. It has established an approximately 24-kilometer-long cycling network, connecting the east-west cycling routes of Zhubei City, Qionglin Township, and Xipu Township. This is crucial for inter-township/city tourism and serves as a new option for the county's east-west cycling regional network. Everyone is welcome to cycle in Hsinchu County, where you can also explore the hidden path of Yinhe Tunnel to admire the beautiful Tofu Rock scenery and take in the waterside charm of the Touqian River. Remarks: The reconstruction project is expected to be completed after the Lunar New Year. Alternative routes are currently provided, and an announcement will be made upon completion.
