The Hsinchu County Stadium Cable-Stayed Bridge (Zhubei Cable-Stayed Bridge) has been illuminated with a brand new lighting system, presenting a fresh new look. The updated lighting system can be programmed with various scenarios, enhancing the overall visual effect of this iconic entrance landmark. The original dot-shaped lights, connected in series, were unable to precisely display lighting variations, and the failure of a single light would disrupt the operation of the entire string. To address this issue, the new system employs full-color LED strip lights encased in aluminum alloy, which are not only resistant to deformation but also provide continuously stable illumination. Furthermore, the wiring method has been upgraded to a combined series-parallel system, ensuring that the failure of a single light fixture will not disrupt the operation of the entire string, thereby reducing maintenance frequency. In addition, full-color floodlights on the tower pillars and under the bridge further enhance the light sculpture effect of the bridge structure, creating visual experiences with diverse atmospheres. The updated lighting system can be programmed with various scenarios, including color changes such as national flag colors evoking waving flags, pink hues for falling cherry blossoms, and blue tones representing the sky and sea merging into one. These designs, through subtle light and shadow effects, highlight the unique features of the cable-stayed bridge.
