The Feifeng Ancient Trail connects Qionglin, Hsinchu, and Guanxi, and is part of the National Greenway known as 'The Camphor Trail.' From the Qing Dynasty to the Japanese colonial period, the ancient trail was a vital route for inland transportation and the circulation of goods. Agricultural products were transported via this route to Daxi, Monga (Wanhua), and Tamsui, and even exported overseas, forming a complete transportation network. With the opening of Provincial Highway Route 3 and other roads, the ancient trail gradually fell into oblivion. In recent years, through maintenance by private organizations, some sections have been repaired using handmade trail construction methods, transforming it into a recreational trail for the public. The ancient trail is lush and green with a gentle path. It can be combined with Guanxi Old Street or Lulaokeng to plan a light day trip, allowing visitors to experience the natural ecology and the cultural charm of the Hakka villages in the inner mountains. Dunan Ancient Trail. Feifeng Ancient Trail: Difficulty: Low, Length: Approximately 7.47 kilometers, Trail Entrances: Nanshan Bridge, Bailing Pavilion.
