Visitor Essentials

The Dunan Ancient Trail is a branch of the Feifeng Ancient Trail, less than 1 kilometer in length. Its short distance and gentle terrain make it suitable as a leisurely walk after meals. The trail is named "Dunan Ancient Trail" because its upstream starting point is "Duchuantou Bridge" and its end point is "Nanshan Bridge." The trail preserves its original natural landscape, and volunteers from the Taiwan Thousand Mile Trail Association have restored the "Camphor Trail" (樟之細路) handcrafted path, providing a comfortable walking environment. Along the way, you can see cultivated Guansi fairy grass flowers; it is recommended to also visit "Guansi Immortal Grass One Fen Field" (關西仙草一分田) to admire the romantic purple flower sea. If you have ample time, it is suggested to start from Dong'an Ancient Bridge, pass through the Dunan Ancient Trail, and then proceed to "Luowu Academy" in the southern district to explore local culture and history. Dunan Ancient Trail Type: Foothill Trail. Difficulty: Low. Length: Approximately 1 km (one way). Path Conditions: Pebbles, flagstones, dirt paths, access roads.
