Shishan Visitor Center

Converted from the former "Shishan Elementary School" building, located around 5.5K on Zhunan Line 41. The center offers services such as tourism consultation, guided tours, and multimedia films. It also provides Hakka Lei Cha (pounded tea) experience for visitors to learn about different tea cultures. The adjacent "Xiexin Teahouse" was originally a teacher's dormitory. After renovation, it became a relaxing space to enjoy Hakka tea snacks. In April and May, the tung blossoms on the left side of the teahouse are in full bloom, falling like snow with the wind, creating a very romantic scene. The center was established in July 2001 (Republic of China year 90), and its main building was originally the school building of "Shishan Elementary School." The center has revitalized the formerly abandoned Shishan Elementary School, preserving the unique rustic feel characteristic of Hakka culture, and provides tourism-related services. The center is divided into: Audiovisual Room: With 44 seats, it usually offers multimedia films for visitors and serves as a venue for various special lectures organized by the bureau. Visitor Center: Provides brochures, introductions to townships in the jurisdiction, and displays of scenic spot photos. Shishan Classroom: This classroom is used for introducing surrounding trails and as a rest area for visitors.
