The Neiwan train, which has traversed mountains and forests for sixty years, thrived in its early days due to the transport of minerals and timber. Neiwan Station is the terminal station of the Neiwan Branch Line, and its architecture still retains the style of the 1950s. Its simple concrete walls are partially tiled, and the sliding wooden-framed glass windows still retain an old charm. In 2003, the large wall in front of the station was further adorned with Auntie Po, a character created by Mr. Liu Hsing-chin. This fusion of different generations quietly breaks through the barriers of time and space.
