To reach Shenjing Ecological Park, located on Shenjing 2nd Road in Baoshan Township, take National Freeway 1, transfer to National Freeway 3, then turn onto Provincial Highway 117 at the Qiedong Interchange and follow the signs. Upon entering the park, visitors are first drawn to a frog-shaped archway, as if stepping into a whimsical world of frogs. The park also features charming frog-themed art installations and exhibition areas that introduce visitors to the life cycle of frogs and educate everyone about ecological conservation. The educational ecological pond here allows visitors of all ages to observe frogs up close and learn how to care for and protect these environmental indicator species. Since 2001, Shenjing Ecological Park has been dedicated to the reintroduction and recovery of Taiwan's unique endangered species—the Taipei frog. These frogs are indicator species for environmental health. Through proactive conservation efforts, the park has successfully brought the Taipei frog back to thrive in this area. This not only represents an effort to protect biodiversity but also symbolizes the improvement and protection of the local ecological environment. In addition to rich ecological observation opportunities, the park also offers expansive views from which visitors can admire the magnificent scenery of Wuzhi Mountain in the distance. This place is not only suitable for nature lovers but also an excellent educational venue, allowing visitors to understand the concepts and importance of ecological conservation while enjoying the natural landscape.
