Visitor Essentials

The Zhong Family Residence in Luliaokeng, Qionglin, was the home of the Zhong family, who were tea farmers. In the past, it encompassed vast tea plantations and employed numerous long-term laborers for tea cultivation and harvesting. Built into the hillside, it is a grand structure featuring one main hall and five transverse wings. Uniquely, the right transverse wing became a two-story building due to the terrain's changes, an architectural approach rarely seen. The complex also included a tea processing factory, a chicken coop, and pigsties. Its construction methods are rustic and natural, endowing it with significant local historical, cultural, and artistic value, along with its rarity.
