Beipu Xiuluan Park

Xiuluan Park is located in the southeast corner of Beipu Street, covering an area of 3.6 hectares, and is one of Hsinchu County's renowned 'Twelve Scenic Spots'. Its history dates back to the 22nd year of the Republic (1933), when residents of Da'ai specially established a memorial park to commemorate the pioneering achievements of Jiang Xiuluan, a settler of Jin Guangfu, naming it 'Xiuluan Mountain'. Later, in the 65th year of the Republic (1976), it was officially renamed 'Xiuluan Park'. Within the park stands the 'Centennial Founding Memorial Stele', commemorating Jiang Xiuluan's contributions to local development. Additionally, the park preserves three precious camphor trees over 150 years old, which have been designated as protected trees, bearing witness to Beipu's natural and cultural history. Today, Xiuluan Park not only carries the memory of its pioneering history but also serves as a green space for relaxation for both local residents and travelers, blending historical, cultural, and natural beauty, making it one of Beipu's must-visit attractions.
