Chen Yung-bin places particular emphasis on detail and safety. Before using heavy machinery, students must first learn theoretical foundations and industrial safety courses. Beginners start with small projects, and the instructor encourages students to unleash their creativity and decide the direction of their own work. The studio houses nearly a hundred types of professional woodworking and metalworking machinery, allowing students to personally experience various techniques. For example, students can use a planer to transform driftwood into a stool, starting with drawing design sketches and progressively completing the piece. The instructor is uncompromising about details, requiring students to practice each step thoroughly. Although the initial form of the work may not be apparent at first, the process itself is already captivating. Once the first stool is completed, the next challenge is to make a table.
