Cool Well

The 'When Drinking Water, Remember the Source' Cool Well, located in Hankeng Village, has a history of over a century. In the past, Hankeng Village suffered from drought and water scarcity. The entire village relied on this founding Cool Well for all its drinking water, leading to the peculiar sight of village women traveling long distances to fetch water for cooking, creating an endless stream of people along the entire road. Today, the village's water supply system is well-developed, and such arduous work is no longer necessary. However, the residents, grateful for this well, erected a commemorative plaque to forever pass on its story to future generations.
