The Zhu Family Ancestral Temple is located on Heping Street in Xinpu. It faces south, with its back to the north. In front of it lies the alluvial plain of the Fengshan River, with a distant view of Leitou Mountain. It is close to other historical sites such as the Liu Family Shrine and the Pan Residence, and is one of many ancestral temples in Xinpu. It was registered as a historical building of Hsinchu County in 2009. The Zhu family's ancestral hall name is 'Peiguo Hall'. It was originally a residence belonging to a branch of the Zhu family that moved to Xinpu. Later, due to relatives recognizing the excellent feng shui of the location, it was proposed to convert the house into the Zhu Family Ancestral Temple to worship the ancestral tablets of descendants from Zhu Zhen Gong's lineage. The annual ancestor worship day is held on October 25th.
