Zhubei Native Forest Reserve

A 400-meter long coastal native forest, situated at the northwestern tip of Zhubei, spans approximately 2 hectares. Research suggests this forest developed on sand dunes accumulated along the coast, with native vegetation succession occurring over many years. An elevated boardwalk has been built within the forest, allowing visitors to appreciate the native forest while simultaneously protecting it from damage.
