Ocean View Boulevard x Xinfeng Mangrove Forest: A Song of Sea Breeze and Sunset, a Dual Feast of Nature and Ecology. Heading south along the seawall of Xinfeng Township, Hsinchu County, lies a scenic trail known as Ocean View Boulevard, hailed as the most beautiful section of the coastal cycling path. Here, visitors can not only enjoy panoramic views of the vast sea but also witness a majestic line of towering wind turbines standing on the seawall, creating a dynamic and spectacular scene against the azure sky. In the evening, as the golden sun slowly dips below the horizon, painting the sky with splendid hues, it resembles a dreamy farewell ceremony, drawing countless visitors to capture photos, take leisurely strolls, enjoy the refreshing breeze, and admire the beautiful scenery. Continuing south along Ocean View Boulevard, visitors will reach the Xinfeng Mangrove Wetland, a rare natural ecological treasure in northern Taiwan and a living geography classroom for children. At the estuary of the Hongmao River, various mangrove trees intertwine to create a lush green tunnel. The trail extends to an arched bridge spanning the mouth of the Hongmao River, leading visitors into a secret forest realm reminiscent of Hayao Miyazaki's 'My Neighbor Totoro'. Standing among the shaded walkways, visitors can not only observe mangrove plants up close but also witness the bustling ecological activities of the intertidal zone—fiddler crabs waving their disproportionate claws, mudskippers bouncing and crawling across the mudflats, and a diverse array of birds and aquatic animals, creating a vibrant spectacle. Thanks to its unique blend of coastal beauty and ecological education, 'Ocean View Boulevard and Xinfeng Mangrove Wetland' received the prestigious 'Top 100 Tourist Attractions' award in 2025, establishing it as Hsinchu County's most popular photo-op hotspot and a premier destination for family outings along its coastline.
