Stepping into the New Farmer's Market, you'll find seasonal fruits at the entrance, fresh vegetables in the refrigerated display cases, dried goods like aged pomelo tea, preserved mustard greens, and bitter gourd slices exclusively sold in the 'Xinfu Goodies Zone,' as well as display counters featuring Xinfu Farmers' Association's own brands such as 'Happy Persimmon,' 'Quality Rice,' and 'Hakka Pomelo Tea.' These are all high-quality local selections, offering a wide array of choices to ensure visitors have a satisfying shopping experience. Every year in mid-July, the Xinfu Farmers' Association regularly hosts a Pear Festival at the event plaza across from the New Farmer's Market. Mid-July marks the peak harvest season, with the harvesting period extending all the way to mid-August. Visitors are welcome to visit and make purchases at the New Farmer's Market throughout this period. To promote food and agriculture education, various related experiential activities are also held during the Pear Festival, such as making pear-themed dishes. Additionally, activities like the 'Baby Crawling Race' are also organized. The content of the activities offered varies each year.
