Guiyao New Glaze Pottery

Located in the urban area of Xinfeng Township, "Guiyao New Glaze Pottery" is the creative workshop of ceramic artist Chen Wei-en. The first floor showcases and sells everyday ceramic art pieces, while the upper floor houses the ceramic art classroom, offering many interesting experiential courses. Having worked in ceramics for decades, he independently developed a low-carbon wood-firing method, forging his personal creative style between tradition and innovation. He was selected as one of the "Third Taiwan Craft Masters." His low-carbon wood-fired ceramic works are characterized by rustic colors and ever-changing textures and patterns. Using wood-fired teapots or cups to brew tea or coffee can even eliminate unpleasant odors from the water, making the tea or coffee taste smoother. Currently, in addition to continuing his creations, he also offers ceramic art courses, hoping to pass on the beauty of ceramic art and integrate it into daily life.
