Visitor Essentials

The Naluowan Recreational Agriculture Zone, located in Jianshi Township, boasts natural and pristine landscapes, with numerous traditional Atayal tribal buildings scattered among its mountains and forests, creating a unique and charming indigenous tribal atmosphere. Within the park, there are multiple farms, recreational farmhouses, and trout farms, which regularly host various agricultural tourism experiences, such as the Little Hunter Experience Camp, where participants learn how indigenous people make hunting traps; or activities like log cultivation of shiitake mushrooms, and making indigenous millet mochi. The zone cultivates a variety of organic vegetables and herbs, and visitors can also engage in natural plant aromatherapy and herb extraction here, personally making their own herbal essential oils. Making indigenous cuisine with a rich Atayal flavor using freshly picked seasonal fruits and vegetables is also one of the most popular DIY experiences. In addition to participating in interesting agricultural tourism experiences, visiting the tribal market is also a lot of fun.
