Bulaoju is located at the 39-kilometer mark on County Road 120, Xinle Village, Jianshi Township, Hsinchu County. Bulaoju offers indigenous hunting explanations and environmental tours, where genuine Atayal hunters personally introduce the hunting tools and mountain wisdom passed down by their ancestors. In addition, it offers various indigenous-flavored meals, Yunnanese dishes, and a special winter-limited whole lamb feast, allowing visitors to indulge in delicious food. In the past, when tribal people went hunting in the mountains, they would use bamboo gathered on the spot to cook rice. This was the most convenient and natural cooking method. It wasn't merely rice, but a trace of life left by ancestral spirits. Bulaoju Leisure Farm, dedicated to developing bamboo tube rice, also offers bamboo tube rice gift boxes that are very popular. Each gift box contains six bamboo tube rice pieces, with three flavors: savory, millet, and coconut. In 2013, it was honored as one of Jianshi Township's Top 5 Indigenous Specialty Souvenirs.
