Chen Family Farm is nestled on a hillside at the very end of Fuli Rural Village. Its main attractions include the rosy trumpet trees, restaurant, orchard, and summer rhinoceros beetles. The seasonal rosy trumpet trees can be found right here at Jioucyong Lake Chen Family Farm. The park is surrounded by lush greenery, featuring an orchard, restaurant, and coffee shop, with the trumpet trees gradually blooming, making it an excellent spot for photos! The restaurant offers Hakka cuisine and Lei Cha (pounded tea), while the orchard primarily grows summer high-grafting Asian pears. Among its features, the restaurant's wooden carved chairs are also a major highlight, etched with Paiwan tribal totems. Paired with authentic Hakka dishes, after your meal you can stroll around the park, and you might even encounter adorable rhinoceros beetles or butterflies. Gather your friends or family and come relax together. Regarding the rhinoceros beetles, because the farm's orchard has dozens of Chinese ash trees, which are their favorite, thousands of rhinoceros beetles, stag beetles, and other beetles can be seen active on the tree trunks every June and July, making it an excellent place for ecological education. Additionally, when you visit Chen Family Farm, the owner, Chen Hsin-yuan, will personally teach children, using local materials, how to make the long-lost bamboo flute, as well as lifelike puppies from foxtail grass – it's a lot of fun!
