Huisen Natural Recreational Farm

A forest spanning 100,000 ping (Taiwanese unit of area, approximately 33 hectares), with only seven two-story buildings. This luxurious expanse of greenery, apart from essential roads and rice paddies/vegetable gardens for promoting natural farming methods, has fully preserved its original appearance. Precious tree species unique to Taiwan are firmly rooted in this land. Huisen Natural Recreational Farm utilizes this priceless mountain forest to promote natural farming methods and forest aesthetics, ensuring that the wonderful symphony played by nature can forever be heard and appreciated by the world. When visiting Huisen Farm, don't just rush through. Take a leisurely stroll along the farm's trails and enjoy the bliss of being surrounded by birdsong, ancient trees, and the fragrance of flowers. Especially when the 'May snow' (tung blossoms) falls, covering the ground, there's a primitive beauty that no other tung blossom viewing spot can match. Furthermore, since the farm operates on a group reservation system, it essentially preserves a private secret spot for tung blossom viewing, making it a truly rare pleasure. In addition to the beautiful forest scenery, the farm also preserves many ancient artifacts for guests to admire. Besides early Taiwanese agricultural tools and folk items, Middle Eastern navigational instruments, Central Asian artifacts, and Chinese imperial kilns, the farm's museum even houses two pyramids replicated with Lithuanian crystal. An Indigenous slate house from Sandimen, Pingtung, is also recreated on the farm for similar reasons.
