Deng Yu-xian Music Culture Park

Deng Yu-xian, known as "The Father of Taiwanese Folk Songs," was a renowned musician in Taiwan during the Japanese colonial era. The well-known songs "Spring Breeze" and "Rainy Night Flower" were his creations. To honor him, who once taught at Qionglin Elementary School, the Hsinchu County Government rebuilt a long-abandoned field hospital into the Deng Yu-xian Music Culture Park. The park features pavilions, lawns, walking trails, and an open-air stage for performances. It also displays information about Teacher Deng's life and achievements, photos, and musical scores. Combining humanities and nature, it provides a place for the public to relax and unwind. Following the gentle and easy-to-walk Wenlin Ancient Trail, it takes about 1.5 hours to reach the park. Along the way, visitors can enjoy the elegant Moso bamboo groves and get some exercise. Finally, one can enjoy leisure time in the park. As you walk through the area, it's as if the folk melodies you often heard as a child gently echo in your ears.
