Zhiliaowo Papermaking Workshop

The Zhiliaowo Papermaking Workshop, located in Qionglin, boasts abundant moso bamboo forests and water resources. In its early days, it was the home of the Liu family, where they learned papermaking techniques, built paper shacks, and developed the papermaking industry. It is also the birthplace of traditional handmade joss paper (gold and silver paper) in Northern Taiwan. Visitors here can not only learn about its traditional history and the origins of papermaking, but also admire the papermaking equipment and craft displays preserved from that era. There are also DIY craft courses, allowing you to experience it firsthand and unleash your creativity.
