Doraemon Science Theme Park

Doraemon Science Co., Ltd. began operations in January 1990. The company's initial name was Xinshengdi Entertainment Co., Ltd. At that time, several shareholders passionate about science education pooled funds to construct an outdoor amusement park with a science education theme on Songboling in Shangkeng Village, Hsinfeng Township. This was intended to complement the Hsinchu Science Park and contribute to rooting science education in Taiwan. The park was initially named Hsinfeng Recreation Grand View Garden, later renamed Doraemon Science Park to make its name more prominent, and this name has been used ever since. Doraemon Science Theme Park has always adhered to a science-themed design direction, offering citizens a different kind of 'knowledge-based' vacation experience and serving as the sole outdoor experimental classroom for national natural science education. Due to its persistent philosophy and commitment to serving the public, the company has been continuously rated as a 'Superior' scenic amusement park by the Ministry of Transportation and Communications' Tourism Bureau for 19 consecutive years; we believe this is the greatest encouragement for the company.
