Zhou Family Farm Tourist Farm

Zhou Family Farm Tourist Farm is located within the Jioujhihhu Recreation Agriculture Area of Xinpu Township. This area is a model rural village successfully planned and transformed by the Soil and Water Conservation Bureau, and it is surrounded by numerous hiking trails and various leisure farms. Zhou Family Farm is Taiwan's only hawthorn-themed tourist farm. During the harvest season from June to October each year, fresh hawthorn is collected and made into a variety of products such as dried hawthorn, hawthorn tea, hawthorn vinegar, hawthorn mung bean cake, and hawthorn ice cream, serving as an excellent health food for busy modern people. Zhou Family Farm Tourist Farm also offers rich guided tours, allowing visitors to gain an in-depth understanding of the surrounding natural ecology and cultural landscape. Walking through the well-planned park, which covers an area of three hectares, visitors will often find themselves climbing up and down slopes or bending down to closely observe fruit trees under trellises. In addition to hawthorn, the farm also grows pears, dragon fruit, persimmons, pomelos, kumquats, and citrus fruits. The farm offers hawthorn experience activities, from heating hawthorn tea and mixing ingredients to solidifying the konjac jelly. In just 30-40 minutes, visitors can taste their handmade hawthorn konjac jelly. For those who have lived in the city for a long time and wish to manage their own happy farm, they can also adopt fruit trees or vegetables here, personally coming to cultivate the land, fertilize, and irrigate during weekends or holidays to fulfill their dream of connecting with the land.
