Fúxiáng Cactus Garden

Whether it's spiky cacti or plump, adorable succulents, at Fúxiáng Cactus Garden, located in Xinpu Township, Hsinchu County, visitors can not only admire and purchase these plants but also select their favorite plants and pots to personally create a therapeutic mini-garden. Fúxiáng Succulent Garden currently features several themed areas: the Cactus Tropical Landscape Zone, the Water Source Plant Natural Ecological Purification Zone and Aquatic Plant Zone, and the Medicinal Plant Zone. Additionally, there are eight cactus cultivation greenhouses and a large conference and presentation room, indicating a meticulously planned and well-equipped park. They have exclusively developed cactus dye, which offers a silky-smooth, cool touch and fresh colors, enriching the visitor experience. The experiential course takes approximately 1 to 2 hours. First, plain fabric is tied with marbles, popsicle sticks, or rubber bands to create unique patterns. Then, the bundled fabric is boiled in a prepared concentrated dye solution, followed by immersion in an oxidizing agent for about half an hour to help the dye adhere to the fabric fibers. After completing these preliminary steps, the semi-finished product is placed into the cactus dye. Using both hands, visitors gently rub the fabric back and forth, meticulously transferring a touch of green onto the fabric fibers. Because the dye made from cacti contains a large amount of silky gum, dyeing the fabric feels like immersing your hands in skincare products, leaving your skin feeling more supple and radiant!
