Lotus Temple Trail

The Lotus Temple Mountain Loop Trail is the first circular trail, located at the junction of Xinfeng Township and Zhubei City's coastal highway. The trail system is primarily constructed with wooden sleepers, passing through loamy soil, areas with lush vegetation, lychee orchards, and osmanthus alleys on both sides, providing a fresh and delightful ambiance. It is supplemented with boardwalks and viewing platforms for rest, and from the summit, one can enjoy distant views of the Taiwan Strait. Because the western end of Fengbi Mountain extends into the Taiwan Strait, its tip resembles a phoenix's nose, hence it is commonly known as 'Fengbiwei' (Phoenix's Nose Tail), offering exceptionally beautiful coastal scenery. Whenever the sun sets, the rosy clouds and mountain hues intertwine, enveloped by green trees. The 'Danshui County Gazetteer' listed it as one of the Eight Sights of Quan-Dan, naming it 'Fengqi Evening Glow'.
