Yuanhe Temple

Yuanhe Temple is located west of Guanxi Pinglin Elementary School and has a history of over a hundred years. The main deity enshrined in the temple is the Three Great Emperor-Officials (Sanguan Dadi), accompanied by Guansheng Dijun (Emperor Guan), Shennong Dadi (Emperor Shennong), Wenchang Dijun (Emperor Wenchang), Guanyin Bodhisattva, Mazu (Heavenly Holy Mother), and Zhusheng Niangniang (Goddess of Childbirth). It serves as a spiritual sanctuary for the devotees in the Pinglin area, often bringing favorable weather and good harvests to the people. In front of the temple stands a century-old banyan tree, which, together with the temple, creates an even more unique and meaningful sight.
