Zhudong Huichang Temple

The main hall of Zhudong Huichang Temple primarily enshrines the Three Mountain Kings and is also known as Zhudong Three Mountain Kings Temple. It also houses Guanyin Bodhisattva, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, and the Three Jewels Buddhas, among others. It is a comprehensive temple that integrates both Taoist and Buddhist traditions. Due to its location in the town center, it enjoys flourishing incense offerings and is a well-known temple in Zhudong Township, boasting a long and glorious history. Huichang Temple is also the temple in the Zhudong area with the longest history of hosting theatrical performances; for example, 'Golden Light' hand puppet shows were once staged here, becoming cherished childhood memories for residents.
