Guangji Temple

After winding through narrow alleys, the view suddenly opens up to Guangji Temple, situated at the end of the old street, serving as the spiritual center for the village residents. In earlier times, due to the village's remote location, it was long plagued by attacks from unsubdued indigenous tribes and wild beasts. The villagers, therefore, enshrined the Baotjong Yiminye (God of Loyal Martyrs) and established a temple to pray for peace. Currently, the temple has also added Kaijhang Shengwang (Sage King Kaijhang), Tian Shang Sheng Mu (Heavenly Holy Mother, Mazu), and the Sanguan Dadí (Three Great Emperor-Officials), to satisfy the diverse spiritual needs of the people.
