Named 'Wenlin' after the famous Wenlin Temple nearby, this ancient trail was once a vital route for local residents to transport agricultural products. Due to industrial transformation, residents gradually moved away, causing the mountainous area to lie fallow and the trail to fall into disrepair. Later, through the dedicated efforts of local residents and community development associations, funding and manpower were secured to restore it. The entire trail is approximately 3 kilometers long, featuring cement paths, gravel paths, and wooden boardwalks. The path is flat and easy to walk, making it an excellent destination for families of all ages to enjoy an outing. Along the way, lush greenery provides shade, and beyond the poetic bamboo groves, careful observation might reveal precious and abundant wildlife such as squirrels, Taiwan barbets (five-colored birds), and Millettia reticulata. Visitors can also explore nearby attractions like Zhiwoliao and Deng Yu-hsien Music Culture Park. Wenlin Ancient Trail Details: Type: Suburban Mountain Trail Difficulty: Low Length: 3.7 kilometers Surface Condition: Gravel and dirt paths, cement paths
