Visitor Essentials
The Shangrui Trail is approximately 4.5 kilometers long, with a walking time of about 30 minutes. It starts at Guanghui Temple in Shangping Lianzhuang and was built along the Zhongyangliao Stream and the hills behind Longxiyuan Garden, leading to its alternate name, 'Zhongyangliao Waterfront Trail'. After passing a cluster of communal kitchens and a Fude Temple, you'll encounter the first glutinous rice bridge, named Ruifeng Bridge, which is why the path is also referred to as the 'Glutinous Rice Bridge Trail'. The trail offers beautiful scenery as it winds along the stream bank, nestled between mountains and water, eventually leading to another bridge, 'Zhongyang Bridge'. After crossing both glutinous rice bridges, the path connects to an industrial road. Turning right will lead you to Nanqing Highway, from which you can return to Shangping Old Street to take a moment and enjoy the views.
