Qilong Ancient Trail

Among the many ancient trails in Dashanbei, Qilong Ancient Trail is considered the one with the most abundant attractions. It has two entrances: one at the intersection next to Longxi Orchard, and the other next to Fengxiang Elementary School. Along the way, it connects to the Dashurong Ancient Trail. Following the ancient trail to the right, you'll encounter straight, vibrant green Moso bamboo forests, three ancient bridges built with glutinous rice, and century-old stone steps. Their antiquity and exquisite craftsmanship make one admire the wisdom of the early settlers. The Yang Family Stone-Pillared House serves as a resting spot along the trail. Take a short break here to experience the refreshing sensation of being immersed in the forest. Its diverse flora and fauna are another reason the trail is worth visiting. Furthermore, from April to May each year, this area is also one of the best places to observe fireflies.
