The Zhenxibao Trail is located in Jianshi Township, Hsinchu County, and is home to one of Taiwan's largest primeval cypress forests, boasting rich ecology and magnificent natural landscapes. The trail's elevation ranges from approximately 1,720 to 2,180 meters, passing through a cluster of ancient trees where each towering old cypress seems to reach the heavens, as if entering a fairyland. The most famous sacred trees include "Adam's Sacred Tree," symbolizing masculine strength, "Eve's Sacred Tree," symbolizing femininity, and the majestic "King's Sacred Tree." These sacred trees are highlights of the trail, attracting countless travelers. Along the trail, the sound of murmuring streams intertwines with gnarled tree trunks, forming a harmonious natural symphony, making one feel embraced by nature and profoundly aware of the Earth's wonder and preciousness. Every step through this primeval forest is a journey of dialogue with nature, reminding people to protect these valuable natural resources. The giant tree clusters of the Zhenxibao Trail can be divided into two main routes: Area A and Area B, each with its unique characteristics. Area A (Ginaji Sacred Tree Cluster): This route was developed earlier and is located on a plateau below Ginaji Mountain. It is more challenging with less obvious paths, suitable for hikers who enjoy a challenge. Area A has numerous giant trees and offers magnificent scenery along the way, allowing visitors to deeply experience the charm of the primeval forest. However, due to the more rugged terrain, it is recommended for those with some hiking experience. Zhenxibao Trail Area A Type: Intermediate mountain trail Difficulty: Medium Length: 4.7 km one-way Trail Conditions: Wooden boardwalks, wooden ladders, dirt/stone paths, streams Area B: This route is relatively gentle and suitable for most visitors. The path in Area B is clearer and not overly strenuous, making it suitable for those who wish to easily enjoy the beautiful forest scenery. Due to its simpler route, it attracts more visitors, making it the most popular choice. Zhenxibao Trail Area B Type: Suburban mountain trail Difficulty: Medium Length: 7 km Trail Conditions: Original path
