Qingqing Fruit Farm is located in Zhubei City, right next to a bustling highway. As the owner's father was a strawberry farmer, the farm primarily consists of three areas: two main strawberry fields and one vegetable garden. From the outset, Qingqing Fruit Farm was committed to treating the land organically and cultivating healthy crops. For instance, they use Bacillus thuringiensis, which is harmless to vegetables but produces toxic proteins for insects. Due to their steadfast commitment to non-toxic, organic farming, whenever they face 'insect crises,' they insist on not using pesticides, instead relying on various biological controls to deter pests. The farm constantly innovates to achieve more efficient crop harvests; their use of 'filter nets,' for example, has been quite remarkable. When Qingqing Fruit Farm first started growing vegetables and strawberries organically, they were not initially supported by friends and family. However, they have transitioned from being questioned to now having demand that far exceeds supply, even offering weekend reservations for picking vegetables and strawberries. All these achievements demonstrate their resilience and highlight the future trend of Taiwan's agriculture in being environmentally friendly and providing high-quality ingredients.
