Nestled in Dashanbei, Hengshan, Yueyin A-Jia Recreational Farm boasts a vast area. Upon arrival, you can immediately feel immersed in the abundant natural atmosphere. The farm specializes in 'Three Teas, Five Senses Forest Therapy'. The 'three teas' refer to the 'Honey Scented Black Tea', 'Camellia Oil', and 'Tea Tree Hydrosol' that visitors can taste or experience making at the farm. This mountainous land was historically dominated by tea trees. Looking across the farm, Taiwanese small-fruit camellia trees are predominant. Once the camellia seeds mature, they are picked and pressed into camellia oil. The process of making camellia oil is intricate and labor-intensive; it takes 10 catties of seeds to extract just 1 catty of oil, making every drop exceptionally precious and hard-earned. Another major highlight is the equally expansive area of Australian tea trees. Under Yueyin's guidance, visitors can operate a distiller to transform freshly harvested Australian tea tree leaves into essential oil and hydrosol. Yueyin explains that tea tree essential oil has antibacterial properties and can be applied to minor skin irritations. The hydrosol can be used as a toner, mouthwash, or mosquito repellent. Its natural and pesticide-free ingredients ensure peace of mind for users. By adding fragrance from the farm's own lemongrass or cinnamon, you can take home a bottle of your self-made lotion, allowing Hengshan's beautiful mountains and waters to nourish you.
