Zhongzhen New Village Cultural Park

The location of Zhongzhen New Village Cultural Park holds memories of journeys from the Golden Triangle jungles, and also marks a new starting point for the "Isolated Troops from Beyond the Border" to settle in Taiwan. Back then, these isolated troops, aiming to fight communism and reclaim the nation, fought for many years in Myanmar and Thailand, enduring threats of war and disease. They withdrew to Taiwan twice between 1953 and 1954, with nearly 7,000 people settling in Taoyuan and establishing Zhongzhen New Village. This land transformed from a refuge into a home, gradually developing into a diverse community blending Yunnan, Myanmar, and Thai cultures.
