Daxi Puji Tang

Founded in 1902, Puji Tang primarily enshrines the Three Sacred Patrons (Lord Guan, Immortal Lü Dongbin, and Sima, the Heavenly Master of the Nine Heavens). With a history spanning over a century, it serves as Daxi's spiritual center. The annual celebration of Lord Guan's birthday on the 24th day of the 6th lunar month is the biggest local event, often regarded as Daxi's second New Year. Besides its usual strong flow of worshippers, Puji Tang is also an important temple for people to burn incense and pray for blessings during the Spring Festival. After their visit, worshippers can conveniently stroll along Daxi Old Street, enjoying a leisurely spring outing.
