Dajiaocong Ancient Trail

As you walk on the Dajiaocong Ancient Trail's wooden steps and see the moss-covered old stone steps nearby, can you imagine that this was once a bustling trade route? Before the Northern Cross-Island Highway was opened, the ancestors of the Bajii and Amping areas had to use this mountain path to transport agricultural products from the mountains to Daxi for sale. As times changed, the prosperity of that era has become a faded page in history. Today, the Dajiaocong Ancient Trail, which retains its rich ecology, offers unique charms in all four seasons and has become an ideal recreational spot for enjoying phytoncides and admiring tung blossoms.
