Embark on a leisurely journey of 'Tea Appreciation' at the Daxi Old Tea Factory. Originally built by the Japanese in 1926 as the Jiaobanshan Factory, it was the predecessor of the Daxi Tea Factory and thereafter established Daxi's glorious history of tea production, earning it the moniker of the era's 'new nobility of tea gold.' However, a devastating fire in 1956 almost completely destroyed the factory. Starting in 2010, the Taiwan Agricultural and Forestry Corporation undertook its reconstruction, bringing back the tea's charm and grandeur that had been lost for half a century, now presented to the world as a harmonious fusion of old and new.
