Visitor Essentials
The Xikou Terrace is a triangular plateau formed by a significant bend in the Dahan River as it flows past the southern side of Jiaobanshan in Fuxing District. It has four levels: the upper two are terraced fields, the lower two are lawns, and the third level also features a small park. It is an ideal outdoor setting for geographical education. From Jiaobanshan, you can overlook it from the Sisqin Pavilion, or you can descend the stone steps below Jiaobanshan Park and cross the Xikou Suspension Bridge to reach the terrace. The Xikou Suspension Bridge is a remarkably long, slender, and elegant bridge with a history of over forty years. From the center of the bridge, you can admire the beautiful landscape of the Dahan River valley and the abundant water storage of the reservoir.
