Finished challenging the Yangchou Forest Trail and your adventurous spirit is still restless? The nearby Wujiu Barrel Mountain Trail awaits your enthusiastic conquest, inviting you to discover Luzhu from a new perspective! The Wujiu Barrel Mountain Trail is approximately 4 kilometers long, comprising five interconnected routes, with an elevation difference of about 80 meters, allowing you to work up a sweat and push your limits! Regarding the origin of the name Wujiu Barrel Mountain, one theory states that during the Ming-Zheng period, Mr. Cai Guang-sheng and his five sons, who moved here, were avid drinkers with excellent capacity, each downing a barrel of wine at a time. The area was thus named Wujiu Barrel Mountain. Another theory is that villagers would bring their cattle here to drink water, hence it was called 'Niushuitong Mountain' (Cattle Water Barrel Mountain). Later, due to phonetic similarity, it transformed into Wujiu Barrel Mountain.
