Birdwatching at TouLiao Great Pond

If you love ecological tours, then TouLiao Great Pond will certainly be familiar to you! The Xinfu Canal (新福圳), located on the Zhugaocuo Industrial Road, is commonly known to the public as TouLiao Great Pond. It is an artificial pond, with the combined area of its two ponds (large and small) spanning an impressive 19 hectares. Besides irrigation, local farmers also use it for fish farming. With its well-maintained natural environment, TouLiao Great Pond attracts many bird species, especially every winter when migratory birds pass through in large numbers, turning it into a spectacular bird exhibition.
