The Bat Cave is located in a valley in the northern part of Sanmin Village. It is a naturally formed colossal rock cave, renowned as a 'water curtain cave' due to the spring water cascading from above its entrance. Its rugged and pristine terrain, coupled with its proximity to the valley stream, attracted a large population of bats to roost there, hence its name 'Bat Cave'. Today, the cave floor is covered in red soil, which is the accumulated guano left behind by the bats. This offers a glimpse into the thriving scene when thousands upon thousands of bats inhabited the cave, further enhancing its mysterious ambiance.
