Humble Dwelling Flower

A poetic origin story for the place name. It originally had three flower petals. Later, due to the treacherous terrain, the Republic of China Armed Forces built bunkers on the island. However, they were unfortunately neutralized by 'water ghosts' (enemy frogmen) from the opposite shore. At that time, the R.O.C. military abandoned the outpost and subsequently blew up the bunkers. As a result, two of the flower petals were scattered, leaving only one petal remaining.
