Chenggong Tunnel/Chenggong Beach

The Chenggong Tunnel, carved out of granite rock, is located in front of the popular Chen Jinglan Western House. It combines the functions of a coastal tunnel and a civil defense tunnel. Compared to other tunnels in Kinmen, the Chenggong Tunnel is smaller in scale, but it is fully equipped with a command post, anti-tank gun positions, anti-aircraft gun positions, machine gun bunkers, dormitories, and a kitchen. It served a significant purpose during wartime.
