Bishan Settlement

Bishan Settlement, located near Kinmen's east coast, though not included within the Kinmen National Park, continually attracts visitors due to its rich landscape, a blend of different cultures. In 2002, during "The Call of Bishan" themed historical architecture event, the term "Eight Sights of Bishan" emerged. These include the famous Chen Ching-chi Western-style House, Chen De-hsing Western-style House, Ruiyou School, Century-old Phellodendron amurense tree, Traditional Four-wing House, Zhaoling Temple, and various ancestral shrines, all becoming must-visit landmarks of Bishan Settlement! Furthermore, the wall paintings completed by picture book artist Liu Rui-qi (wawa) and village volunteers, leading Anlan Elementary School students, have added a touch of vitality to the quaint settlement, infused Bishan Settlement with the creativity of a new generation, and continued a brand new chapter.
