Shuang-kou Beach Park

Shuang-kou Coast is only about 6 kilometers from Xiamen, making it Kinmen's closest beach to Xiamen Island. It was also the ferry crossing point for Shuang-kou villagers to cross to Xiamen in the past. After 1949, it became a frontline coastal defense stronghold. To prevent enemy attacks, combat trenches were dug around the village, and anti-landing obstacles made of steel rails were set up along the tidal line, stretching for several kilometers and presenting a spectacular sight.
