Qilin Mountain Forest Park

Qilin Mountain Forest Park is located in the central-northern part of Lieyu Township. With an elevation of 119 meters, it is the highest point on the entire island of Lieyu Township. In its early days, due to continuous warfare and the need for combat readiness and military training, the Qilin Mountain Firing Range was constructed in 1958. In 2009, the Qilin Mountain Firing Range ceased operation and was repurposed for tourism and recreational use.
